News reaching Vigil 360 that they have been a crash in Kano state and many feared dead as a train in motion crushed a Dangote cement truck and a commercial tricycle in Kano State, along Obasanjo Road at about 11:30 am 23rd January 2022. An eyewitness, who is a trader beside the rail track, said he noticed the truck moving towards the rail line, as the train was in motion. According to the witnesses, efforts made to flag down the trailer were not fruitful.

Bandits Demand N24 Million Levies On Nine Communities In Zamfara

Terrorists have slammed N24 million levies on nine communities in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State and demanded prompt payment or face assaults. The levied communities include Gaude, Tungar Gebe, Wawan Iccen Ibrahim, Wawan Iccen Salihu, Galle, Nannarki, Ruwan Kura, Gangara and Yargalma. Findings gathered that the affected communities have started mobilising to pay the bandits, even as locals said letters to that effect have since reached the affected communities through kidnap victims who regained freedom.

Leader of the proscribe Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has engaged a popular constitutional lawyer and human rights activist, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), as the lead counsel representing him. This is coming as the federal government has filed a fresh charge bordering on alleged terrorism against Kanu. The development was confirmed by the former lead counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor to reporters Tuesday morning at the federal high court where Kanu is expected to be arraigned today for continuation of his trial.
