President Muhammadu Buhari alongside his first lady Aisha Buhari cast their votes at polling unit 003, Sarkin Yara A, Kofar Baru, Daura, Katsina State on 25th February, 2023. Mr. president, who arrived the polling unit about 9.57 a.m amid cheers from those present was accredited at about 10.07am, collected the ballot papers and went into the cubicle to vote for the candidate of his choice in the presidential and National Assembly elections.
He thereafter, displayed his ballot paper to an eager crowd who insisted he show them.
Speaking after voting, he asked Nigerians to freely vote for their preferred candidates.
The president said he believes that his constituency would choose Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He also urged all the candidates to accept the outcome of the elections as the choice of the electorates.
