The All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared the air on its alleged involvement in the internal wrangling within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), leading to the emergence of a new faction named 'Fresh PDP.' The National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Bolaji Abdullahi while speaking with Punch Correspondents said his party has no interest in the internal affairs of the PDP stressing that the opposition party has failed to learn from its sordid past.

His reaction is coming after PDP House of Representatives Caucus accused the APC of being behind the splinter group in the PDP.

“We are not interested in these individuals; we are not interested in the internal affairs of the PDP.

“Instead of looking for someone to blame, they should search their conscience and realise that nothing built on falsehood can stand.

“It is their falsehood catching up with them less than two weeks after their convention.

“Their falsehood has caught up with them within two weeks, nothing built on falsehood can survive what they are simply demonstrating to Nigerians is that they have not learnt any lesson from their past. They should try to sort out themselves.”
