Arewa Consultative Forum, a northern political and socio-cultural group has commended President Buhari's move to grant unconditional amnesty to repentant members of Boko Haram sect. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari received the released Dapchi girls on Friday in a meeting after the release of the girls by Boko Haram militants at the State House presidential villa, Abuja. "We entered into negotiation solely to make sure that no single girl was hurt. This strategy paid off as the girls are being released without any incident," Buhari said to reporters at the presidential villa in Abuja.
