FG Urged To Pay State Workers Directly From Federal Allocations

A former Nigerian High Commissioner to Canada, Chief Dare Bejide, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to ignore state governors and pay state civil servants directly.

No fewer than 125,198 eligible voters have registered for the first and second quarters in the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) in Enugu State.

SERAP Wins Suit Compelling NASS To Disclose Its Wages

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has won the latest round in the legal battle to compel the Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives Dogara Yakubu to account for the spending of N500 billion as running cost for the legislative body between 2006 and 2016, and disclose monthly allowances of each member.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday declared his stand on raging issues, including corruption, tribalism and religion which he said were the key problems hampering Nigeria’s development.
