President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday assured stakeholders from the South-East that the region is not being marginalised.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo Thursday broke his silence on the current imbroglio involving the Minister of State Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu and the Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Baru Maikanti, over approval for $25 Bn contracts. The vice president clarified that he gave approval to the joint venture financing loans in accordance with laid down procedure, but he did not approve contracts.
