The Supreme Court has fixed Thursday, October 26, 2023 to deliver judgement in the cases of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar; the Labour Party (LP) and its candidate, Peter Obi against the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to reports, this development was confirmed on Wednesday by the Director of Information of the Supreme Court, Dr. Festus Akande.

Abubakar and Obi are urging the apex court to set aside the judgement by the September 6 ruling by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) that upheld President Tinubu’s electoral victory in the February 25, 2023 presidential poll.

On Monday, the Supreme Court reserved judgement in the suit filed both by PDP and LP while the appeal of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and its presidential candidate, Chichi Ojei was dismissed.
