The National Committee of Yoruba Youths (NCYY) has called on the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo to sack the Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Anti-Corruption (PACAC), Prof. Itse Sagay for alleged refusal to declare his assets in accordance with the law.

The group which made its position known in a statement issued by its National President, Comrade Oladimeji Odeyemi stated that after a painstaking discreet investigation, it was revealed that Prof. Sagay did not declare his assets and as such remains unqualified to head PACAC.

According to him, “The consequence of this illegality is for Prof. Sagay to be removed. We, therefore, give the respected Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, who is a Professor of Law and a Senior Advocate, to put a stop to this illegality within 48 hours".

The group which also called on “the CCB to within 72 hours thoroughly investigate Professor Sagay expressed disappointment that "Sagay who is loudest about the anti-corruption fight of the government has not declared his assets".
