Michy Batshuayi has reacted to questions regarding to his future. The Belgium international was sent to Borussia Dortmund in January on loan on deadline day, in a move which triggered a hat-trick of major transfers including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Olivier Giroud. Since he touched down in Germany, Batshuayi has scored five goals in his first three matches.

According to Chelseaseason, the 24-year-old netted a brace to secure a 3-2 Europa League win against Atlanta last night. Despite his sterling performance, there is uncertainty surrounding his future beyond the end of the season.

Speaking with ESPN, the Belgium international said;

“I’m not thinking about that at all. For me, it’s important to perform well for Borussia Dortmund in every match anew. I’ll deal with the situation as it comes. They all welcomed me here with open arms.

The entire staff and the team made it very easy for me and I have a good translator by my side. I’m feeling very good at the moment. It was an important win for the team. We’re trying to win every match and to continue to our good run.”
