Former Chelsea midfielder, Marcel Desailly has strongly warned the club’s record signing Moises Caicedo to sit-up, be more committed, and improve his winning mentality if he really wants meet up with the Blues’ standards following a poor performance he displayed on his debut against West Ham United in their premier league tie last weekend.

The former France International urged Caicedo to show some winning spirits, resilience, and more commitment for the Club going forward, if he is to survive in the Club.

According to him, Caicedo, who joined Chelsea from Brighton this summer, needs a major shift in attitude if he is to fulfil his potential and meet the demands of playing for a ‘big club’ like the Blues.

In his words, “You don’t need to talk about it. We better start to put the mindset into the system, you need to adjust your implication,” Desailly said.

“You are in a big club now! And in a big club you need to prepare yourself much better for each game.

“Now you digest the idea of £100m and you are now back home you need to be committed,” he concluded.
