Spanish giant, Barcelona have expressed readiness to release Neymar if Paris Saint Germain (PSG) can meet his release clause reported to be in the region of about £197million. Barcelona President, Josep Bartomeu gave this hint when he spoke with ESPN in Miami. According to him, the player has a release clause in his contract and the club will not change their valuation of the player to sanction the move.

“We want Neymar to stay, but there are clauses. If he wants to leave, pay and leave. They have to pay the clause, to the last peseta. UEFA has fair play controls and if any club exceeds them, they will be sanctioned.”

The League I had reportedly sealed a five-year deal with Neymar but appear reluctant to activate the release clause, which will make the Brazilian star the world most expensive player. If the deal is consummated before the end of the summer transfer, Neymar could pocket over 500 thousand Pounds weekly.

Since the transfer saga commenced, Neymar has become unsettled and aggressive, especially during training sessions, attempting to fight teammates at some points. Last week he reportedly stormed out of the training ground after he was restrained from attacking Nelso Semedo following a bust-up.
