Leicester City has reportedly rejected a £20m offer from Bournemouth for fringe winger, Demarai Gray. The 21-year-old England international joined Leicester City in 2016 after the Foxes triggered his £3.7m release clause. He has however failed to break into the first team.

According to Sky Sports reporter, Kavah Solhekol, "the bid was rejected because Leicester claimed the player is not for sale. Solhekol who took to his Twitter handle on Thursday said "Bournemouth have made an offer in the region of £20m for Leicester City winger Demarai Gray. Offer has been rejected. Gray not for sale."

The reluctance to release Gray may have been informed by Riyad Mahrez's decision to quit. Mahrez is believed to be eyeing a move to Italian giant, AS Roma or premiership rival, Arsenal.

If Gray joins Bournemouth before the end of the summer transfer window, he will add to the smart additions the club had earlier made. Recall that German Defoe, Nathan Ake and Asmir aBegovic have all joined the club in a combine deal said to be worth £30m.
