German international, Mesut Ozil appears to have reconsidered his longstanding decision on his future at Arsenal. Marca reports that the playmaker has decided to extend his stay at the club contrary to his earlier decision. Ozil whose contract ends this season was billed to leave as free agent next season.

Given his contract situation, Manchester United were said to have indicated interest to lure him to Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, apart from pay rise, Mesut Ozil is believed to have requested for a change in jersey Number. Ozil who currently wears No. 11 wants the No 10 shirt which is current being used by Jack Wilshere.

He has also demanded that his current 170, 000 Euros per week deal be upwardly reviewed to 300, 000 Euros per week.
