Tottenham star, Dele Alli could become the latest footballer to join Super Agent Jorge Mendes’ agency, Gestifute, a move that is fuelling his rumored move to Real Madrid. After parting ways with his former representative, Rob Segal in September 2017, Dele Ali has been in search of a competent agency that would represent him in future.

According to Daily mail, about six agencies had indicated interest to take up the responsibility when his contract with Segal’s Impact Sports Management expires next summer. Although six agencies are in for the job, Mendes appears to be the favorite according to Daily Mail.

The report claims that Mendes has already met with the player’s family members and the prospect of adding him to the number of senior and talented players under his agency appears brighter. The family’s decision to accept Mendes is reportedly because of his negotiating skills especially when it comes to facilitating improved contracts for his clients.

Bookmakers predict that since Mendes is close to top officials at Real Madrid, it is only a matter of time for him to push for Ali's transfer to Spain. Meanwhile, Tottenham Chairman, Daniel Levy is confident to stretching Madrid purse since his contract is not due to expire until 2022.

Mendes is the agent to Manchester United manager, Jose Mourihno, Christians Ronaldo, Paul Pogba and Rome Lukaku among other big names.
