As Google prepares to launch its latest Operating System, Android R which will become Android 11 at launch, an initial developer preview which already out reveals it will come with lots of improvements and cool changes. In recent years, wireless charging has evolved to become a standard feature of flagship mobile devices. The feature frequency of wireless charging pads has also increased significantly. Google's forecasted adjustments to this system show there will be a new pop-up window to remind the user to reposition for proper wireless charging.
The reality has been that a user will have to properly align his/her phone to the charging coil on the wireless charging plate, that is not visible to the eye. Worse, some users might not even be aware of that and simply leave their phones unattended and also not charging. The Android 11 system, however, optimizes the applicability of wireless charging. With the latest feature, android owners can know if the phone is properly placed on the wireless charging pad.
As customary, Android 11 will be officially unveiled at Google I/O Conference between May 12-14, 2020, in Mountain View, California right next to the Googleplex. The official version will probably arrive in the second half of this year. The Android 11 Developer Preview is still in its early stages and many features may still make it to the public.
