Elon Musk, the owner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Twitter said that the social media network would replace its bird logo with the name ‘X’. Musk made this known on Sunday in a tweet from his official page: “If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make (it) go live worldwide tomorrow”.
Musk changed his Twitter profile picture to the company’s new logo late Sunday night and also changed his Twitter bio to “X.com”, which now redirects to twitter.com.
Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion last year October and has since introduced several reforms on the social media platform such as annual subscription fee for verified Twitter accounts, amongst other reforms.
