Lebanon's Prime Minister, Saad Hariri has returned to Beirut, the Country's capital two weeks after he announced his resignation and remained in Saud Arabia. Hariri's decision to return back to the country came after a brief visit to France where he held talks with French President, Emmanuel Macron. At the International Airport, Hariri was received by some supporters.

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved that Alex Ekwueme, former vice-president of the country whose health has been deteriorating lately, be flown abroad for medical treatment. Garba Shehu, senior special assistant on media and publicity to the president, said Buhari gave the approval after he received a brief on the medical condition of the former vice-president.

Former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri has arrived in Paris, the capital of France to meet French President Emmanuel Macron.His trip came two days after French Foreign Minister told reporters in Saudi Arabia that Hariri was not in detention and that he has agreed to visit France to hold talks with Macron on political situation in Lebanon.

Anti-Open Grazing Law Is Meaningless – Al Makura

The Nasarawa State governor, Umaru Al – Makura has said that the anti-open grazing law is meaningless and therefore will not be passed or enforced in the state.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday inaugurated the 10,000 capacity ecumenical centre built by the Bayelsa state governments in Yenagoa.

Osinbajo who also serves as a pastor in one of the nation’s churches challenged Nigerians to rededicate themselves toward building a nation they would be proud to bequeath to unborn generations.

Human Trafficking Reaching A Crisis Level – Saraki

In the wake of the death of the death of 26 Nigerians women aboard a Spanish warship on the Mediterranean in a fatal attempt to get into Europe by sea, President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki has said that the challenge of trafficking is now nearing a crisis level.

Four organisations including Nestle and USAID have initiated a training programme for volunteers in the field of agriculture and agribusiness in Kaduna State.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that under the programme tagged `Feed the Future’, farmers would be trained in maize quality improvement and small agricultural businesses in the state.
