Popular Nigerian rapper CDQ has taken to the social media to reveal his ordeal at the hands of Nigerian Customs officers in the middle of the night. According to the rapper, some customs officers in mufti stopped him at Ibadan checkpoint and started shooting at his vehicles in order to force them to stop, even when a trailer was dangerously approaching from behind.
He further disclosed that after collecting all the money his manager had on him, they followed them to a nearby ATM, close to the venue of the event they were billed to perform and asked his manager to withdraw from the ATM for them. He gave the vehicle number plate as CS207.
His post on the Instagram read;
“What baffles me the most is that they asked me to stop right on d express in the middle of the night with guns in mufti and a trailer coming behind hit my car yet as I was trying to escape d trailer to avoid more damages the customs started shooting and my car front tyre got busted I mean it was horrible… something terrible could have happened.
"I’ve never seen people been so inhuman in my life after messing my car up they still followed us close to the show venue in Ibadan and asked my manager to come down from d vehicle to withdraw money for them at d atm machine after collecting all the cash with him initially… Their vehicle number was CS207 at Ibadan toll-gate.”
His other post read;
"NiGERIAN Customs be taking me to the atm to withdraw bribe for dem all because i'm not with my customs papers in my car on Ibadan expressway. Nigeria peace and love can never reign"
