NYSC @50: Youth Development To Remain Priority – Osinbajo

The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo insisted that youth development will continue to be prioritized by the Federal Government through policies and programmes that empower them not only for economic survival, but also to prepare them for the future leadership roles of the country. This was made known in his speech at the opening ceremony of the 50 years anniversary celebration of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), in Abuja on Monday.

2023 UTME: JAMB To Release Results May 2

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced in a statement on Monday that it would commence the release of the results of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Tuesday, May 2, adding that all students who were unable to sit for the exam due to no fault of theirs are rescheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2023.

WAEC Reveals Date For 2023 Examination

The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has revealed a date for the commencement of the 2023 school-based West African Senior School Certification Examination (WASSCE), the exams are slated to kick off on 8th May and run through till 23rd June 2023. This was made known by the Head of WAEC National Office, Patrick Areghan at the pre-examination press briefing held in Lagos state on 4th May 2023. Addressing the level of insecurity in the nation was to be considered, adding that some areas require extra security arrangements.

JAMB Reschedules UTME For Candidates Over Technical Glitches

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for candidates in 100 centers who were to write for 25th April 2023 but were unable to partake due to technical glitches. The Board made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday night in Abuja by the Head, of Public Affairs and Protocol, JAMB, Dr Fabian Benjamin. The statement reads: “Following the announcement, candidates, who for technical reasons could not take the examination, are to print a new examination notification early tomorrow morning, Wednesday, 26th April 2023, to know their new scheduled sessions.
