President Muhammadu Buhari, the Incumbent of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has defeated Atiku Abubakar the former vice president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 23rd presidential election.

A Division of Federal High court sitting in Abuja has on Thursday sentenced a former Air Vice Marshall, Tony Omenyi, to seven years jail term for fraud. While passing the judgment, Nnamdi Dingba, the judge ordered the forfeiture of N62 Million to the Federal Government coffers, being part of the N136 million recovered from Mr, Omenyi by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
