Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has described as fake news, reports that he had fled the country few days to the Presidential election in which he is rooting for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Obasanjo who spoke with newsmen at his Presidential Library, Abeokuta, described the Social media post as “fake news,” wondering why he would fail to carry out his civic responsibility as a Nigerian.

APC, PDP End All Forms Of Political Campaigns

Political parties in the country have to wind up campaigns less than 24 hours to the 2019 general elections. This is as the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People Democratic Party (PDP) have closed all forms of campaigns for the February 16, 2019, Presidential election in accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Act.

Buhari To Address The Nation By 7pm

Three (3) days to the 2019 general elections, President Muhammadu Buhari will be making a national broadcast by 7 pm with a repeat at broadcast by 9 pm.

Ex-militants in the Niger Delta region on Wednesday endorsed the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of Saturday's election. According to The Cable, the position was taken at the end of a workshop in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital.
