The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke disclosed on Thursday that he sacrifices his monthly 600 million Naira to develop Osun State. The governor made this disclosure during his First Interactive Session, adding that the money was channeled to fund projects in the state instead of using it for his personal benefit.

He said, “Development of Osun is paramount to me and hence decided to take huge sacrifice by adding my security vote to fund the project in the state rather than keep it to myself like others before me.”

Talking about the N7 billion infrastructure support fund of the state, he said, “We intend to use the N7 billion to fund some projects, including; dualization of roads per 2 senatorial districts; flyover bridges at Osogbo and some other towns; street lights for newly constructed roads; second stream of 332 boreholes across wards; commencement of Imole transport service and Imole Housing Estate at 500 units per federal constituency.”
