Xi Jinping, the Chinese President on Friday congratulates President Buhari over his victory of the February 23rd presidential election in Nigeria. extend to Your Excellency warmest congratulations and best wishes. I wish you continued success in fulfilling the lofty mission.’’
President Jinping said, through collaborative efforts between, Nigeria and China in recent years, have yielded a significant political mutual trust and secured fruitful outcomes between the two countries in practical cooperation, and has delivered tangible benefit.
‘‘I highly value China’s relations with Nigeria and stand ready to join hands with you to follow through on the outcome of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and take the China-Nigeria strategic partnership to a next level, to the greater benefits of the two countries,’’ President Xi said.
