President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the gruesome murder of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh (rtd), describing the situation as “very sad and unfortunate.” The President who made his position known in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adeshina, commiserated with the family of the late four-star general, his friends and professional colleagues in the military.

While also commiserating with the people and government of Adamawa State over the demise of the former Chief of Defence Staff, who was killed by unknown gunmen along Abuja–Keffi road, on Tuesday, the President directed all security agencies to fish out the killers immediately.


Badeh was killed on Tuesday along Abuja/Keffi road, while returning from his farm.
