Spain's Garbine Muguruza beats Venus Williams in the Wimbledon women's final. The Spaniard Outclassed 37-year-old Venus Williams in two straight sets to claim her maiden Wimbledon trophy. Muguruza has a huge smile on her face as she poses with the Venus Rosewater Dish. This is her fourth title - two of them have been Grand Slams. How much more will she win? She's only 23.


"Congratulations Garbine, amazing. I know how hard you work and I'm sure this means so much to you and your family. Well done today, beautiful. 

"Thank you to my team who've been here day in day out. And my family, I love you guys. We've had lots of beautiful moments in the past week. 

"I miss you, Serena. I tried to do what you do but I think there will be other opportunities," said Williams in her congratulatory speech. 

 

 Meanwhile, the males finals between Roger Federer and Marin Cilic will hold tomorrow.
