Ex BBN Star Rico Swavey Dies At 29

One of the alumni of the reality show Big Brother Naija Patrick Fakoya, also known as Rico Swavey has given up the ghost after involving in an auto crash in the early hours of 11th October 2022. It was gathered that the 29 years old actor has been on life support since his involvement in the car accident. Recall that one of his colleagues, Alex Asogwa had called for prayers, noting that Rico was in a critical stage as the doctors are battling to save his life. However, a statement on his Twitter page called for support and donations to upset his medical bills. The statement was signed by his management and it reads "Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is not disposed to handle his socials right now as he was involved in a ghastly accident and is currently on life support.”While his situation is critical and doctors are on him, We implore your support and prayers.”.

Trevor Noah To Quit The Daily Show

South African comedian Trevor Noah has announced that he is stepping down as host from The Daily Show, after beign at the helm for seven (7) years. The 38-year-old who took over from Jon Stewart in 2015, revealed his exit from the Comedy Central satirical news program during the live show on Thursday night before sharing the clip to Twitter with the caption, "A special message from Trevor Noah."

American songwriter and rapper, Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, popularly known as Cardi B has announced her plans for a wedding ceremony to her husband and fellow rapper, Kiari Kendrell Cephus, fondly known as Offset. The couple secretly got married in 2017 but did not disclose it until Cardi B confirmed it in 2018. 

Tom Cruise Set To Shoot Movie In Outer Space

Tom Cruise, 60-year-old Hollywood veteran and "The Bourne Identity" director Doug Liman have reportedly reached out to Universal Filmed Entertainment Group Chairman Donna Langley for a movie that will be out of this world. Langley, has revealed that plans for a spacewalk for the Mission Impossible star were definitely in the works. The movie pitch included Cruise taking a rocket up to the International Space Station. "I think Tom Cruise is taking us to space, he’s taking the world to space," Langely said, according to BBC News. "That’s the plan. We have a great project in development with Tom … taking a rocket up to the Space Station and shooting."

Grammy-Winning Rapper, Coolio, Dies Aged 59

Grammy-Winning rapper, Coolio who became famous after releasing global hits like “Gangsta’s Paradise” and “C U When You Get There” died at 59 years old. Coolio’s longtime manager, Jarez, revealed that the rapper was found lying dead in the bathroom of a friend’s house. According to Jarez, Coolio visited a friend and later went to the bathroom, but when he didn’t return after a while, the friend called for him and after no response, eventually went into the bathroom, where he was found dead.

His wife before his untimely death Taylor Simone Ledward, accepted the Creative Arts Emmy Award on his behalf. According to Deadline, Ledward said during the acceptance speech, "When I learned Chad was nominated, I started thinking of everything that was going on in the world and our world and being so in awe of his commitment and dedication and what a beautiful moment that one of the last things he would work on was something so important to him and to the world but also something new.
