Nigerian-born American artiste, Jidenna arrived Lagos Tuesday ahead of the Heineken Live Your Music parties.

After more than two decades, Fashion Police, the iconic series on E! Network, an American basic cable and satellite television channel, would end its run with a special finale on November 27. The network announced Wednesday that the series hosted by Melissa Rivers, Joan’s daughter, will sign off with a special episode, “Fashion Police: The Farewell’’.

Embattled Nigerian afro-pop act, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has released a statement, through his lawyers, Norrison Quakers (SAN), stating that his late friend, Tagbo Umeike, never entered his car. He also released CCTV footages of the night’s events. The statement by Davido’s lawyer, entitled The Unfortunate Death of Tagbo Umeike; Davido’s Story, reads in full:

Nigerian rapper, M.I Abaga, and his record label, Chocolate City, are suing American rap legend, Nas, whose real name is Nasir Jones, for allegedly failing to deliver a verse they paid for. In the lawsuit, which was filed in the New York State Supreme Court last week, Nas was accused of duping Chocolate City after they had paid the rapper $50,000 for the verse. According to the lawsuit, in 2013, Nas and Goodman entered an agreement to contribute a verse to a track from M.I.

The real – and only – Starboy, Wizkid has been nominated for the “Music of Black Origin” (MOBO) award as he walks away with two nominations, appearing in the 'Best International Act' and 'Best African Act' categories. Wizkid is the only African and the first Nigerian mainstream artist to be nominated in the category, alongside global music stars like Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Drake and more others.
