Three People Shot Amidst Riots Sparked By Police Shooting Of Jacob Blake

Three persons have been shot during a third night of fighting in the US city of Kenosha that was triggered by the police shooting of a black man, Jacob Blake. Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth told the New York Times that one person had been killed. The violence occurred during a confrontation between protesters and a group of armed men. The 29-year-old unarmed black man who was shot seven times by a Wisconsin police officer on Sunday was involved in a brawl with several Kenosha cops moments before the shooting.

Trump had in the past said he was not going to wear a face mask in order to stop the speed of the pandemic, mocking rival Joe Biden for wearing a mask. In April, he said, "I don't think I'm going to be doing it, wearing a face mask as I greet presidents, prime ministers, dictators, kings, queens - I just don't see it."
