Police Arrest Kuje Prison Escapee In Katsina

The Katsina Police Command on Friday said its men arrested one of the escapees from the recent Kuje prison jailbreak. According to the police, the 33-year-old escapee, Kamal Abubakar, was re-arrested on Thursday evening in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina state, during a raid on suspected criminal hideouts in the council.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has reacted to a viral video of alleged Permanent Voters Card, PVCs found buried in drainage. The electoral empire revealed that the alleged buried PVCs were found in a highly placed area in Rivers state. Recall a viral video that went around on social media portraying some number of PVCs alleged to have been buried somewhere at a politician's residence. 

Kuje Prison Attack: NDLEA Arrests Escapee in Abuja

One of the wanted terror suspects who escaped from the Kuje Medium Security Custodial Centre, following an attack on the facility last week Tuesday, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). This was made known in a statement signed by NDLEA’s, Director of Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi.

IGP Prohibits Use Of Spy Number Plate Nationwide

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba, has placed an indefinite ban on the use of Police SPY vehicle number plates by vehicle owners across the states 'without exceptions'. This was made known by the police spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi in a statement on 13th July 2022 stating that the ban is "irrespective of whether it is authorized, or not, as all authorizations are hereby revoked indefinitely", and more so to help in forestalling the continuous disregard for traffic rules and regulations and other extant laws guiding road use by individuals hiding under the privileges of SPY police number plates.

Kuje Prison Attack: NCoS Releases Details Of Escaped Terrorists

The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) has released the images and names of prison inmates with terrorism cases who escaped from the Kuje Medium Custodial Centre, Abuja on Tuesday night. Some of the escaped convicts include members of terrorist groups such as Boko Haram and ISWAP.
