The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), has confirmed the appointment of the former Governor of Kano State, Dr. Umar Ganduje as the National Chairman of the Party, Basiru Ajibola also emerged as the National Secretary of the Party.
He succeeds Senator Abdullahi Adamu, who resigned last month.
Ganduje was elected at the ongoing National Executive Committee (NEC) Caucus meeting of the Party in Abuja.
President Tinubu, Vice President Shettima, some Governors, and other chieftains of the Party were present at the meeting.
