The All Progressive Congress (APC), Katsina state Chapter has endorsed the President, Muhammadu Buhari for second. The state chairman of the party, Shittu S. Shittu stated this on Saturday while briefing newsmen at the end of a crucial meeting by the state executive committee of the APC.
Shittu stated that the decision of the party to endorse the President for second term was because of the achievement his administration has recorded so far and expressed optimism that if given second term, he would consolidate on the gains so far achieved. He listed some of the achievements of the President to include security, recovery of the economy, fight against corruption and infrastructural development.
The party also endorsed the Governor of the state, Aminu Masari for second term. He credited his administration with purposeful leadership and open door policy, stressing that indigenes and residents in the state are happy with the governor.
