The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), were at the government house, Makurdi on Friday, to pay a sympathy visit to people of the state impacted by the recent flooding. The opposition party delegation was led on the visit by its national publicity secretary and former minister of works, Prince Dayo Adeyeye.

The delegation who were received by the State Chairman, John Ngbede, also included Benue indigenes, national lega adviser, Hon. Dave Iorhemba and board of trustee member, Mrs Margaret Icheen.

 

During the visit, the party donated several food items and other relief materials to support victims of the flood.
