Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich has reportedly perfected plans to sack current Club manager, Antonio Conte at the end of the season following his poor handling of Diego Costa transfer issue and the recent woeful display by the club.

According to Marca, “Conte’s relationship with the club owner has ‘deteriorated’ and he is no longer on speaking terms with the club’s billionaire owner. All communications are going through Marina Granovskaia, a director who plays a large part in the team’s transfer business”.

The report claimed that the situation stemmed primarily from the poor way Conte handled Diego Costa’s issue, a development that reportedly cost the Club millions of Pounds. The report further revealed that Abramovich considered the text message from Conte to Costa as disrespectful, as he was not consulted.

It added that though Conte was struggling to improve the relationship with club owner and the players ahead of weekend’s crucial tie against Manchester United, Abramovich has commenced search for his replacement.

Antonio Conte recently signed an improved contract with Chelsea after winning the Premier League in his first season. His current contract will terminate in 2019.
