The Samsung Galaxy S Light Luxury is now official in China - the handset that was previously rumoured to be called “Galaxy S8 lite”. It comes with a 5.8” Infinity Display inside a body the same size as the Galaxy S8. It's a Super AMOLED panel with 1,080 x 2,220 px resolution (18.5:9). The phone has a single camera on the back - 16 MP sensor and an f/1.7 aperture. It can record 4K video at 30 fps, but lacks OIS. The selfie camera has an 8 MP sensor and f/1.7 aperture.

Sony Corp said on Tuesday it would pay about $2.3 billion to gain control of EMI, becoming the world’s largest music publisher in an industry that has found new life on the back of streaming services. The deal adds a catalogue of more than two million songs – including some of the greatest hits from the first half of the 20th century – to Sony’s already huge holdings.

An inter-brokerage services firm, Parthian Partners Limited, has developed a mobile application to make investment in treasury bills seamless. The new app is called I-invest, and it allows users purchase the government instrument directly from their smartphones.
