Facebook has opened NG_Hub, the first flagship community hub space in Africa, in the city of Lagos, Nigeria. The company collaborated with the Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) to achieve the milestone on Tuesday, 22 May, 2018. The social media giant has 2.07 billion monthly active users and 1.37 billion daily active users on average worldwide and 10 million daily users and 22 million monthly active users from Nigeria.

The Samsung Galaxy S Light Luxury is now official in China - the handset that was previously rumoured to be called “Galaxy S8 lite”. It comes with a 5.8” Infinity Display inside a body the same size as the Galaxy S8. It's a Super AMOLED panel with 1,080 x 2,220 px resolution (18.5:9). The phone has a single camera on the back - 16 MP sensor and an f/1.7 aperture. It can record 4K video at 30 fps, but lacks OIS. The selfie camera has an 8 MP sensor and f/1.7 aperture.

Sony Corp said on Tuesday it would pay about $2.3 billion to gain control of EMI, becoming the world’s largest music publisher in an industry that has found new life on the back of streaming services. The deal adds a catalogue of more than two million songs – including some of the greatest hits from the first half of the 20th century – to Sony’s already huge holdings.

WhatsApp has introduced a number of new features for group chats, in a bid to make the platform more interactive and engaging.
