Electric carmaker Tesla says on Friday, a Tesla model x was involved in a fatal crash in California, which was in Autopilot mode, raising further questions about the safety of self-driving technology.

Tesla further revealed that the vehicle's logs from the accident showed no action had been taken by the driver soon before the crash and that he had received earlier warnings to put his hands on the wheel.

According to Tesla “The driver had about five seconds and 150 meters of unobstructed view of the concrete divider with the crushed crash attenuator, but the vehicle logs show that no action was taken.”

U.S. President Donald Trump accused Amazon.com Inc on Thursday, of not paying enough tax, taking advantage of the U.S. postal system and putting small retailers out of business, but did not present any evidence to back up his criticisms or suggest any specific actions he planned to take.

Trump has attacked Amazon and its Chief Executive Jeff Bezos several times, and his latest comment on Twitter came a day after news website Axios reported that Trump was obsessed with the world’s largest online retailer and wanted to rein in its growing power with federal antitrust laws.

Scientists monitoring defunct Chinese space station Tiangong-1, said debris may crash to Earth as early as Friday, as the station is gradually coming close to Earth.

The Tiangong-1, which was part of China's ambitious space programme, and the prototype for a manned station in 2022, was put into orbit in 2011 and five years later completed its mission, after which it was expected to fall back to Earth.

However, Time and place of impact are hard to envisage as it is no longer under control.

The latest estimate for re-entry is between 30 March and 2 April.

About 100 Google U.S. employees concerned about cyber bullying inside the company have organized into a group proposing new policies for conduct at the unit of Alphabet Inc, five people involved in the effort said in recent interviews.

Three current employees and two others helping to organize the group said it formed last fall. They said that among its proposals, which have not previously been reported in detail, are that Google should tighten rules of conduct for internal forums and hire staff to enforce them.

Google on Wednesday launched a voice synthesiser called "Cloud Text-to-Speech" which is powered by its Britain-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) subsidiary DeepMind.

The service, will be available for any developer or business that needs voice synthesis on tap, whether that’s for an app, website, or virtual assistant. But what’s particularly interesting about this news is that Cloud Text-to-Speech is powered by WaveNet, software created by DeepMind.

A text-to-speech service is a form of speech synthesis that converts text into spoken voice output. Google's text-to-speech powers the voices in service like Google Assistant, Search and Maps.

Uber has been prohibited from continuing with self-driving tests in the United State of Arizona.

The car-hailing firm had already called off its trial after one of the vehicles involved knocked and killed a pedestrian a week ago.

Governor of Arizona, Doug Ducey, wrote to the company on Monday, stating that there had been an "unquestionable failure" to make safety the top priority.

Uber said it would help investigators "in any way we can".
