Malaria is another deadly disease which works as a risk for the health of patients. The scientists have now found out an antibody which is targetted to fight malaria. This antibody gets tested in mice and found capable to fight with malaria infections by working with proteins that are found in all strains of the malaria parasite.

The study also tells about an antibody which is known as CIS43 that protects the much accurately.

 

Marie Pancera who is a biologist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Washington tells that the study found an antibody which is known as CIS43 that protects a person from malaria and is better than the antibodies which are in use before.

 

It is also notified that the study worked on a unique binding site on the surface protein which is known as circumsporozoite protein (CSP) that is used for the designing of a vaccine which will possess the capabilities to make an immune system capable enough that it will produce antibodies.

 

The study gets published in the journal Nature Medicine tells that the human antibody which is linked to the subject that works like a vaccine that contains weakened malaria parasite.

 

The study also finds that both the antibodies and site are made to target the surface protein which will show a new way for the prevention of malaria.

 

It is also updated that when an antibody found effective in the trails on human, it directly gets recommended to malaria patients to use it for upto six months. The researchers tell that the recently available drug should be taken on a daily basis.

 

The data updated by World Malaria Report 2016 tells that there were around 212 million malaria cases worldwide in 2015 and from which 4,29,000 are linked with malaria deaths. Malaria is a disease that caused by the Plasmodium parasite and gets spread in the human body by the bite of an infected Anopheles mosquito.
