Former Arsenal Boss, Arsene Wenger is still hopeful Arsenal will win the premier league title this season. Wenger claimed he saw tiredness from Man City during their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich. Despite their recent wobble because of one key Manchester City reason. The Gunners have dropped four points in their last two games, surrendering two-goal leads in both outings, with West Ham following on from Liverpool this past weekend.

Meanwhile, City have picked up maximum points to take themselves within four points of the Gunners, still with a game in hand. Arsenal's visit to Etihad Stadium is also fast approaching with the two title rivals set to battle on Wednesday, April 26, but before that Mikel Arteta's men can rectify their recent poor form.

On Friday evening, the Gunners welcome Southampton, who sit bottom of the Premier League table, to the Emirates Stadium.

Manchester City will host Arsenal in the Etihad Stadium next Wednesday, in what has been billed as the ‘title decider.’

In his words, “I felt really they finished tired in the last 10 or 15 minutes (against Bayern) and maybe Arsenal can take advantage of that because Arsenal plays nothing else, just the championship and they play on Friday night after they have five days to prepare for this game.

“Physically they could have an advantage and surprise City, that’s what I hope of course, but let’s see.”
