The President of the Nigerian Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki on Sunday said the Nigerian Police is bent on implicating him in the recent armed robbery attack in Offa, Kwara state, following a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Moshood Jimoh. Saraki in a statement released by his media aide Yusuph Olaniyonu urged the general public to disregard allegation that he was behind the activities of the criminals in the state.

Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba has been named by the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the secretary of the party’s national convention committee. The APC convention has been slated for 23 June. The party promptly appointed Ndoma-Egba as a replacement for the former secretary, Senator Ben Uwajumogu from Imo state, who resigned for personal reasons.
