Acting President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has urged parents and guardians of the kidnapped Lagos School boys not to lose hope on the return of their wards.

Following the backlash that greeted the recent review of the secondary school curriculum, resulting in the collapse of Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) and Islamic Religious Knowledge to form National Values, the Federal Government has directed the Nigerian Educational Research Development Council (NERDC) to revert to status quo and immediately restore CRK and IRK as separate subjects.

Yesterday, the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar reiterated his call for immediate restructuring of the country, saying those against restructuring of the country are enemies of the people.  The former Vice President stated this while making a presentation at a programme organized by the Senior Staff Club, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has warned impersonators especially operatives of other security agencies to desist from conducting illegal operations in the name of the Service. The Nation's Secret Police issued the warning on Thursday morning in a statement signed by Tony Opuiyo.
