Tinubu Reshuffles Portfolios of 4 Newly Appointed Ministers

President Bola Tinubu has approved the reshuffling of four of his newly appointed Ministers; Engr. Abubakar Momoh had been redeployed as the Minster-Designate from the Ministry of Youth to the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development. More so, the Ministers-Designate allocated to the Federal Ministries of Transportation, Interior, and Marine & Blue Economy have been reshuffled as follows: Adegboyega Oyetola is redeployed as the Minister of Marine & Blue Economy, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo is redeployed as the Minister of Interior and Hon. Sa’idu Alkali is redeployed as the Minister of Transportation.

Uzodimma Dumps Deputy, Unveils New Running Mate

The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, on Saturday unveiled Mrs. Chinyere Ekomaru, as his running mate ahead of the November 11 governorship election in the state. In his address at the event held in Owerri, the governor insisted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would not fail the state and urged the residents to support the party with their votes in the election. He promised to consolidate on the success recorded by his administration in the last four years if re-elected in November.

El-Rufai Withdraws as Ministerial Nominee, Replaces Self

One-time Governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Nasir El-Ruafi, has revealed his intent by withdrawing himself as one of President Bola Tinubu Ministerial appointees. It was gathered from sources from the Presidency, that El-Ruafi had met with the President on Tuesday after 45 out of 48 Ministerial nominees were screened, stating that his interest in becoming a Minister was forgone, but promising to contribute his part to the development of Nigeria behind the scene.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has unveiled the Chairmen of the 74 full-standing Committees of the 10th Assembly. Tinubu: Economy Must Recover For Good Of Nigerians

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his stance on the economic growth of his citizen, he has reassured Nigerians that no stone will be left unturned in his administration's multifarious efforts to stimulate the economy and make it work for the good of all Nigerians. This was revealed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement. He quoted the President to have said this in a meeting with the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Forum held at the State House, Abuja.

Ogun: Tribunal Dismisses PDP Counsel's Application

The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has dismissed the application filed by the counsel to People's Democratic Party (PDP), Gordy Uche, SAN, seeking a stand down after witnesses presented damning evidence against petitioners. Four witnesses, Oyegunle Suleiman, from Sagamu, Mr. Ifetayo Ifede, from Ikenne, and Adelani Yemi, from Abeokuta North, including an official of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Mr. Omotilewa, had appeared before the panel to give evidence backed up by documents against PDP, alleging electoral infraction, ranging from manipulation, disruption of the electoral process, as well as inducement through the preloaded ATM cards with the inscription of Ladi Adebutu’s late mother. All the witnesses convincingly proved and defended their statements with appropriate documents tendered to the tribunal and subsequently adopted and marked as exhibits.
